ABOUT ZAK

Zak has been tattooing for eight years and works within the language of classic tattooing. His approach draws on the creative energy of 1990s tattooing while remaining grounded in the simplicity and discipline of traditional.

His imagery draws from cartoons, classic traditional and biomechanical forms, always focused on strong, bright, readable designs that age well on the body.

“I like imaginative drawings with simple application.”

For Zak, the most satisfying moment is seeing a tattoo healed and settled in the skin.

This year he is focusing on releasing a small number of production flash sets, building his Sydney clientele, and taking on larger scale projects.

He is always interested in tattooing designs from his personal flash and magazine collection. Visitors are welcome to contact him or stop by the shop to look through books and drawings.
