  • Booking a Tattoo at Rosie’s is easy. You can book online via our contact form, call us on (02)9211 0066 or send us an email at info@tattoorosies.com. You can also come past our shop in Surry Hills any time to talk about your tattoo idea. One of our shop managers are always available to talk through your ideas and can often arrange a consult with your tattoo artists at the same time. Alternatively, some artists taking bookings directly via Instagram DM or their email.

  • We love tattooing walk - ins! We often have same day appointments available. Depending on how big your tattoo is or if you’re wanting to come at a particular time, want a specific artist or style or if there is a group of you, we would suggest calling ahead to make sure we can accommodate your request.

  • This really depends on the artist and what you want to get tattooed. For smaller or more simple pieces, we often have appointments available that week, or even the same day. For large or ongoing work, or a specific artist, you may need to book further in advance. Some of our artists do have waiting lists, which you can request to be added to for the first available appointment. Feel free to call, email or  send us a DM any time to double check availability, schedule and timeframe for a design.

  • Definitely! We love consulting with you on your ideas and working together to design you the perfect tattoo. Sometimes consults are a simple as a chat, sometimes it’s more involved and we will draw a rough design or concept with you. 

    No matter what size or detailed piece you want, all consults get the same consideration and patience at Rosie’s, and we welcome you to come in before your appointment to talk about it. 

  • You can reschedule your appointment within 24hours notice. Please email the shop on info@tattoorosies.com or call us on (02)92110066 to change your appointment. It’s never a problem rescheduling, as long as you provide us with enough notice.

  • Cancelling an appointment is never an issue. If you give us more than 24 hours notice, we can reallocate your deposit to a new appointment time, or you can be refunded. If you need to cancel within 24 hours notice, you will forfeit your deposit.

    No showing to your appointment isn’t cool. The process of designing your tattoo starts long before you show up. Calling ahead to let us know you can’t make it is common courtesy and really appreciated.

  • Yes, all bookings require deposit. This is usually around $100 (artist dependent) and comes off the total price of your tattoo. It covers the cost of set up and drawing time, and secures a time slot in their diary. Deposits can be paid via bank transfer, PayPal or in store. Please speak with shop management or your artist to arrange payment.

  • Deposits are generally non refundable, however it is at the artists discretion. Please give us 24 hours notice to reschedule and move your deposit to another appointment time. Cancellations within 24 hours or no shows will lose their deposit. You will need to pay another deposit to rebook.

  • We won’t tattoo you if you are under the age of 18, even with parental permission or accompaniment.

    You’re more than welcome to come in and tell us your ideas and we can work on a design for when you turn 18.

  • If you have recently turned 18, or look under 25, please bring your ID.

  • The cost of a tattoo can vary depending on size, placement, design and complexity. Our shop minimum is $200 and hourly rates for ongoing work vary from $200-$250 between artists.

    All artists at Tattoo Rosie’s are very experienced tattooers and you’re paying for high quality work, experience and satisfaction guaranteed.

    You will find that other tattoo shops in the area are priced similarly, however, we cannot guarantee the same level of work or professionalism. 

  • The minimum price for a tattoo at Tattoo Rosie’s is $200, no matter how small or simple. This is non-negotiable.

  • You’re welcome to bring a friend or family member to your tattoo appointment. If you’d like to bring more than one person with you, we kindly ask you call ahead to check we have space to accommodate them. 

    We may be able to tattoo friends at the same time too, just give us a call email or DM and we will do our best to look after you.

  • Our shop is located on Riley Street Surry Hills and there is often metered parking right outside the shop. Alternatively, there are many other streets close by with timed or metered parking. If you need to top up your parking metre during your appointment, please let your artist know you need to take a break, no worries!

    There are also Wilson and Secure car parks located within a short walking distance with day rates.

  • We are a 5 minute walk from Central Station an are well connected via several bus services that go up and down Oxford Street and Crown Street.

  • The perfect gift! We sure do. Pick one up at our Surry Hills shop, or purchase one via our online store. You can opt to receive a hardcopy voucher in the mail, or an e-voucher.
